You know how Swedes are crazy about the Eurovision Song Contest, right? Well, they take it to a whole new level with a 6-week long competition called Melodifestivalen just to decide who gets to represent them. So, in collaboration with SVT, the TV channel behind it all, we wanted to amp up the experience for the 4 million viewers.
We came up with this cool second screen app that aimed to make the audience feel the vibe of the show in real-time. It was all about creating a genuine connection. Picture this: a heart-pounding moment where viewers could cast their votes by tapping the heart symbol whenever they were struck by inspiration during a performance. It was like voting with all your heart, both literally and figuratively.
